Creating Server Management Connections with Viewpoint

Before you can configure ServiceConnect, the CMIC must be managing a Viewpoint instance and at least one Teradata Database instance.

The system logs debug output from the portlet is located in the following directory:

/opt/teradata/viewpoint/portal/logs/viewpoint.log

If you experience errors, try the following:

  1. Close, then reopen the Server Management portlet.
  2. Restart the Viewpoint service.
  3. Reinstall the Server Management portlet from the RPM file using the installation script.

    A TAR file containing the latest Server Management portlet is on the CMIC AMI.
